I moved into Fiona Apartments about six months ago, excited by the promise of a luxurious living experience in the heart of Colorado Springs. Initially, the amenities and modern finishes did impress me - the rooftop sky lounge was a favorite spot for evening relaxation, and the fitness studio was well-equipped. However, the novelty quickly wore off as the reality of living here set in. The 'unique and luxurious living experience' they advertise comes with a hefty price tag, and unfortunately, the value just isn't there. The apartment itself was stylish, I'll give them that. The GE appliances and tile backsplash in the kitchen were nice touches, and the carpeted bedrooms were a comfortable haven. But, the 'modern finishes' felt somewhat superficial when basic maintenance requests would go unattended for weeks. The 'pet-friendly' policy, which I thought would be a huge plus, ended up being more of a hassle than a benefit. The pet spa and outdoor dog run are great ideas, but they're rarely cleaned, and the breed restrictions, while understandable, felt overly restrictive. The co-working space and meeting rooms were underutilized and often closed for 'private events,' which seemed to happen more frequently than actual community activities. Perhaps the most disappointing aspect was the lack of community engagement. Despite the promises of a 'vibrant community,' the events hosted by the apartment complex were sparse and poorly attended. It felt more like a collection of isolated individuals than a thriving community. For the price you pay to live at Fiona Apartments, you expect a certain level of service and community that, in my experience, they failed to deliver. If you're looking for luxury without the hefty price tag and disappointments, I'd suggest looking elsewhere. Colorado Springs has plenty of other options that offer similar amenities without the extravagant cost and unmet promises.
