I was really looking forward to working with The Equality Network (TEN) to enhance our company's inclusive leadership and diversity initiatives. Unfortunately, the experience fell short of my expectations. The customized coaching sessions, while well-intentioned, lacked depth and failed to address some of the more nuanced challenges we're facing. The globally recognized assessments were insightful, but the follow-up support and guidance were sparse. I also found the team's approach to be somewhat formulaic, lacking the flexibility to adapt to our organization's unique needs. Perhaps most disappointing was the lack of measurable results; despite TEN's focus on metrics, I struggled to see tangible improvements in our diversity and inclusion metrics. For an organization that champions inclusivity and equity, I was surprised by the lack of diverse perspectives within their own team. It seemed like they were more focused on checking boxes than genuinely driving change. The fire of inclusion they aim to ignite felt more like a spark that fizzled out quickly. Unless they revamp their approach to be more tailored, adaptable, and genuinely committed to diversity within their own ranks, I would caution others against investing in their services.
