Elite Heat is Sandersville's premier athletic training facility, specializing in recreational and competitive gymnastics and cheerleading. With a wide range of programs, including tumbling classes, hotshots, private lessons, extra events, and parties, Elite Heat is dedicated to fueling athletes and igniting champions. The facility offers a variety of services, including Gymnastics, Cheer, Dance, and weekly after-school care called Hot Shots. At the helm of Elite Heat is Tabitha Hatfield, a seasoned coach with over 17 years of experience in the gymnastics and cheer industry. Tabitha's coaching career began at Elite Gym USA in Milledgeville, Georgia, where she coached gymnastics. She later transitioned to coaching cheerleading at the Varsity level in 2007 and went on to establish the Varsity Gymnastics program at Washington County High School in 2016. In 2018, she added a Middle School gymnastics program, further expanding her reach in the community. In 2020, Tabitha took ownership of the Sandersville location of Elite Gym USA, rebranding it as Elite Heat. Today, Tabitha not only owns and operates Elite Heat but also coaches competitive gymnastics at Elite Gym USA in Milledgeville and leads the Middle School Competition Cheer team at TJ Elder Middle School. Her dedication to the sport is evident in her work with the Varsity, Junior Varsity, and Middle School Gymnastics teams for the Washington County School Systems. Tabitha's personal life is also deeply rooted in the world of sports, as she is married to her husband, Greg, and they have three children who are all involved in athletics in their own ways. Tobey, their eldest, is a cheerleader at Young Harris College and a former competitive gymnast, while Ree is a member of the Washington County High School Competition Cheer Team, Gymnastics Team, and the Elite Gym USA Competitive Gymnastic Team. Their youngest, Holt, may not be directly involved in gymnastics or cheer, but he loves all things sports and plays football. Through Elite Heat, Tabitha aims to create a supportive and nurturing environment where athletes can grow, learn, and thrive. With its comprehensive programs, experienced coaching staff, and commitment to excellence, Elite Heat is poised to become a leading athletic training facility in the region.
