I'm not one to usually write reviews, but my recent experience at Elaine's Pet Resorts was a mixed bag. As a pet owner, it's heartbreaking to see a place that has so much potential but falls short in the little things. The facilities are undoubtedly impressive - the doggy water parks are a fantastic idea, and my pup loved running around on the artificial turf. However, it was the inconsistencies in care that really got to me. Some staff members were incredibly attentive and friendly, while others seemed completely overwhelmed or disinterested. The lodging area, although clean, had a bit of a smell that I couldn't quite put my finger on, and the training sessions, while well-intentioned, felt a bit disorganized. What really took the cake, though, was when I picked up my pup and found that they had gotten a bit of a haircut without my consent. I understand that accidents can happen, but the lack of communication about it was staggering. For a place that prides itself on being a 'home away from home' for pets, I expected a lot more in terms of personalized care and attention to detail. Perhaps with a bit more focus on these aspects, Elaine's Pet Resorts could truly live up to its premier reputation. Until then, I'll be taking my business (and my pup) elsewhere.
