I'm usually not one to write reviews, but my experience with Dream Vacations By John was a letdown from start to finish. As someone who's always looking for a relaxing getaway, I thought a travel agency specializing in personalized vacations would be the way to go. Unfortunately, John's 'personal touch' felt more like a generic sales pitch. When I inquired about their Oktoberfest packages, I was expecting some unique insights or maybe even a special deal. What I got instead was a cookie-cutter brochure that I could've downloaded from their website myself. The communication was lackluster; I had to follow up multiple times just to get basic questions answered. For a company that claims to tailor-make vacations to meet unique needs and desires, I felt like just another checkbox on their client list. The pricing wasn't competitive either - I found better deals on my own after doing some basic research online. Maybe I just caught them on a bad day, but my attempt at planning a dream vacation with Dream Vacations By John ended up being a frustrating and unfulfilling experience. Unless they revamp their customer service and actually start listening to what their clients want, I'd advise looking elsewhere for your travel needs.
