June 06, 2025Disappointing Experience with DASQ's Adult Literacy Program
I'm extremely disappointed with the adult literacy program offered by the Dominico-American Society of Queens (DASQ). As someone who has been struggling to improve my English skills, I was excited to join their program, but unfortunately, it didn't live up to my expectations. The classes were overcrowded, and the instructors seemed overwhelmed. The curriculum was also outdated, and we didn't have access to the resources we needed. I was really looking forward to learning, but the experience was frustrating. I hope DASQ will take my feedback seriously and make improvements to their program. Until then, I would not recommend their adult literacy program to others.
