I visited Collectors Corner in Rancho Mirage last weekend, and unfortunately, it was a letdown. As a thrift store enthusiast, I was excited to explore the vast treasure trove of donated items, but the experience was marred by poor customer service and a lackluster selection. The staff seemed disinterested and unhelpful, barely acknowledging my presence. I was expecting a wide range of high-quality items, but the furniture and household goods section was sparse and overpriced. The artwork and collectibles were few and far between, and the jewelry selection was underwhelming. I did find a few nice pieces of clothing, but the prices were steep for a thrift store. What really bothered me was the lack of organization and cluttered aisles, making it difficult to navigate the store. I appreciate the store's mission to support Eisenhower Health, but the execution fell short. With so many other great thrift stores in the area, I won't be returning to Collectors Corner anytime soon.
