I'm still trying to process the overwhelming sense of disappointment I felt after working with Colin Davis Jones Studios. As a professional dancer, I've had the privilege of collaborating with some of the most talented costume designers in the industry, but my experience with CDJS was a resounding letdown. From the initial consultation to the final fitting, the entire process felt rushed, disorganized, and utterly lacking in attention to detail. The prices they charge are nothing short of exorbitant, and the quality of the final product was, in my opinion, subpar. I've seen better craftsmanship at a fraction of the cost from smaller, independent designers. What's most egregious, however, is the studio's apparent disregard for client feedback and concerns. When I expressed my dissatisfaction with the final product, I was met with a dismissive attitude and a blatant lack of willingness to make things right. It's clear that CDJS is more concerned with its reputation and bottom line than with providing genuine, personalized service to its clients. Unless they seriously revamp their approach and prioritize the needs of their customers, I would not recommend Colin Davis Jones Studios to my worst enemy.
