I'm still trying to process the disappointment I felt after my recent visit to the CHA Malden Care Center. As someone who values timely and effective healthcare, I was dismayed by the long wait times and lack of communication from the staff. My appointment was scheduled for 10:00 am, but I didn't get seen until 11:45 am. When I finally met with my healthcare provider, I felt rushed and like my concerns weren't being fully addressed. The provider seemed overwhelmed and distracted, which only added to my frustration. To make matters worse, the center's phone system is notoriously difficult to navigate, and I spent over 20 minutes on hold just to ask a simple question about my appointment. I understand that healthcare organizations can be busy, but as a patient, I expect a certain level of respect and attention to my needs. Unfortunately, my experience at CHA Malden Care Center fell short of my expectations. Perhaps with some adjustments to their scheduling and communication systems, they can better serve their patients in the future.
