A Disappointing Experience with Cefaly Italia's Migraine Solution

I'm extremely disappointed with my experience using the Cefaly device from Cefaly Italia. As someone who's suffered from migraines for years, I was desperate for a solution that would reduce my reliance on medication. The concept of the device sounded promising - an external cranial stimulator that could prevent and treat migraines with minimal side effects. Unfortunately, after using it for over two months, I haven't noticed any significant improvement in my migraine frequency or severity. The device itself is somewhat cumbersome and the adhesive electrode can be uncomfortable to wear, especially during the night when I'm trying to sleep. The magnetic connection between the electrode and the device also tends to disconnect easily, which can be frustrating. I followed the instructions to the letter, using both the Acute and Prevention programs as directed, but the results have been underwhelming. What's even more disappointing is the customer service. When I tried to reach out to Cefaly Italia about my concerns and the ineffectiveness of the device for me, I was met with a somewhat dismissive attitude. They seemed more interested in pushing the product's benefits rather than listening to my specific issues or offering tailored advice. The 2-month trial period and satisfaction guarantee sounded great at first, but when I decided to return the device due to its lack of efficacy, the process was more complicated than expected. The refund of 269 euros was eventually processed, but not before several back-and-forth communications. Overall, while I appreciate the innovation and intent behind Cefaly Italia's product, my personal experience has been disappointing. For the price and the promises made, I expected a more effective solution and better support from the company. Perhaps others have had better luck, but for me, the Cefaly device has not been the migraine game-changer I had hoped for.
