I'm not one to usually write reviews, but my experience with Belinda Robertson was downright underwhelming. As a long-time fan of luxury cashmere, I thought I'd found my holy grail with this brand. Boy, was I wrong. The quality, while good, didn't quite live up to the exorbitant prices they're asking. I mean, who pays over a thousand dollars for a cashmere blanket that, while soft, doesn't feel particularly more special than something you'd find at a high-end department store for half the price? The Shearlings collection, which I was excited to try, felt like a gimmick - reversible, yes, but not particularly versatile in practice. And don't even get me started on the 'made-to-order' gilets, which took an agonizing 4 weeks to arrive, not the 2-3 weeks promised. For a brand that prides itself on customer satisfaction, the communication was lacking, to say the least. I was left feeling like I'd been sold a dream that didn't quite deliver. Perhaps for someone with a lot of disposable income and a penchant for the finer things, Belinda Robertson might be a good fit. For me, though, it was a hard lesson in not believing the hype. Save your money, folks, and look elsewhere for your cashmere fix.
