I was really looking forward to working with Beach House Agency for our company's corporate retreat in Miami. Their website and social media profiles promised a luxurious and unforgettable experience, but unfortunately, the reality was far from it. From the initial planning stages, I felt like we were just another checkbox on their to-do list. The communication was lacking, and it took multiple follow-ups to get even the simplest questions answered. The event design was beautiful, I'll give them that, but the execution was subpar. The logistics were a mess, with vendors showing up late and the schedule running behind. The guest experience design was supposed to be 'intentional and elegant,' but it felt like they just phoned it in. The 'mindful design' that they tout on their website was nowhere to be found. It was just a bunch of generic, overpriced activities that didn't even begin to address our company's specific needs. The branding strategy and visual storytelling were also underwhelming. It felt like they took a generic template and just plugged in our company's name and logo. The whole experience felt like a wasted opportunity. For a company that claims to be 'passionate about storytelling,' they sure didn't tell a very compelling one. Needless to say, we won't be using Beach House Agency again, and I would caution others to think twice before hiring them. Maybe they're just better at designing websites than actual experiences.
