Overhyped and Underwhelming Experience

I participated in the Battle in the North event last year, and I have to say, it was a huge letdown. The workouts were unoriginal and lacked variety, with too much repetition throughout the day. The Intermediate division, which I was part of, felt more like a beginner's course, and I was disappointed by the lack of challenge. The venue was also poorly organized, with long lines for the bathrooms and inadequate parking. The 'wellness initiative' they advertised was nothing more than a few booths selling overpriced supplements and fitness gear. The community aspect of the event was non-existent, with most participants keeping to themselves and hardly any interaction between teams. For the price of $175, I expected a lot more. The cash prizes for the Rx Division were a nice touch, but it felt like they were trying to buy people's interest rather than genuinely creating a engaging experience. Overall, I wouldn't recommend Battle in the North to anyone looking for a fun and challenging competition. Unless they significantly revamp their format and organization, I'd say save your money and look elsewhere.
