I recently had the misfortune of dealing with Bastille Security Group for my business's security needs, and I must say, the experience was thoroughly underwhelming. Despite their claims of rigorous training and comprehensive services, the security officers they provided seemed lackluster and unprepared. The marked security patrol services we opted for were supposed to provide nighttime representation and rapid response, but on multiple occasions, the patrols were either late or failed to show up altogether. When I brought this to the attention of the management, they seemed more interested in making excuses than taking concrete actions to rectify the situation. The personal protection officers (PPOs) they offered, supposedly trained to Level IV standards, did not inspire confidence, and their security team development program seemed more like a theoretical concept than a practical reality. What struck me as particularly disturbing was the disconnect between their mission statement of 'Service With Integrity' and the actual service provided. It felt like they were more focused on projecting an image of professionalism rather than genuinely delivering it. For a company that boasts about exceeding the Texas Department of Public Safety’s Private Security Board requirements, I expected a lot more in terms of quality and reliability. Unfortunately, Bastille Security Group failed to meet even the basic expectations, leaving me to question the integrity of their operations and the true value of their security solutions. Unless they undergo significant reforms in their training, service delivery, and customer relations, I would advise potential clients to explore other options for their security needs.
