I visited Basic Beauty Bar with high expectations, given their impressive array of services and commitment to working with empowered women. Unfortunately, my experience was underwhelming. The hair stylist, although friendly, seemed rushed and didn't quite deliver the look I was going for. The lash extensions were overpriced and didn't last as long as I expected. What really put me off, though, was the pushy sales tactic when it came to their boutique clothing. I understand they want to support women-owned businesses, but it felt forced and insincere. For a salon that prides itself on cleanliness and quality, I was surprised to see a few areas that could use some attention to detail. Perhaps it was just an off day, but I left feeling like I'd overpaid for a subpar experience. The mission to deliver exceptional beauty experiences and foster a sense of community is admirable, but it seems like they still have some work to do to live up to their promises.
