As a long-time enthusiast of custom computer builds, I've had my fair share of power supplies from various manufacturers. Unfortunately, my experience with Athena Computer Power Corporation (ACPC) has been nothing short of disastrous. Their 650W power supply, which I purchased for my latest gaming rig, failed after a mere six months of use. The unit would randomly shut down my system, and after troubleshooting, I discovered that the power supply was indeed the culprit. What's more alarming, however, is the absolute lack of support from ACPC. Despite numerous emails and calls, I was met with silence or, at best, vague promises of 'looking into the matter.' The RMA process was convoluted and slow, with my replacement unit taking over three weeks to arrive. To add insult to injury, the 'replacement' was actually a refurbished unit that looked like it had been sitting in a warehouse for years. The lack of transparency and accountability is staggering. For a company that prides itself on 'excellent and reliable technical support,' ACPC's actions (or lack thereof) are a far cry from their mission statement. As someone who values both performance and environmental sustainability, I'm deeply disappointed in ACPC's products and services. Until they address these glaring issues, I would strongly advise against purchasing from them. One-star reviews like mine might seem like a drop in the ocean, but I hope that by sharing my experience, others can avoid the frustration and financial loss that I've endured. ACPC, if you're listening, it's time to put your money where your mouth is and actually deliver on your promises of quality and support.
