I'm still trying to process the disappointment I felt after my experience with Aquatic Adventures Scuba Academy. As someone who was excited to learn how to scuba dive, I thought I had found the perfect place - they're a PADI 5 Star Instructor Development and Dive Center, after all. But what I got was a disorganized and unprofessional team that seemed more interested in selling me gear than actually teaching me how to dive. My instructor was nice, but clearly overwhelmed with the number of students in our class. The 'personalized education' they promised was nothing more than a myth - I felt like just another paycheck to them. And don't even get me started on the 'flexible schedules' they advertised. I had to reschedule my lessons three times because they kept changing the schedule on me. The final straw was when they tried to upsell me on a bunch of unnecessary gear, claiming it was 'required' for the course. It was clear they were more interested in making a sale than in helping me become a competent diver. Needless to say, I will not be returning to Aquatic Adventures Scuba Academy, and I would not recommend them to anyone looking for a reputable and customer-focused dive center. Save your time and money, and look elsewhere for your scuba diving needs.
