As a long-time aficionado of bespoke framing, I had been eagerly anticipating the opportunity to work with this storied institution. Regrettably, their touted 'handcrafted, one-of-a-kind framing' and 'luxury mirrors' failed to impress. The final product, while visually stunning, was marred by a plethora of issues, including a staggering price tag that seemed to bear little relation to the actual value received. The 'free shipping and handling' and 'free white glove crating service' were small consolation prizes in the face of such egregious expense. What's more, the 'discounts up to a certain percentage' that they advertised proved to be nothing more than a hollow marketing ploy, as I was unable to avail myself of any meaningful savings. In an era where customer satisfaction is paramount, APF Munn's seeming indifference to my concerns and lack of effort to rectify the situation left a sour taste in my mouth. As someone who appreciates the value of traditional craftsmanship, I had expected more from a company that touts its 'century-old woodworking techniques' and 'innovative archival technologies.' Alas, it appears that APF Munn is more concerned with burnishing its reputation as a luxury brand than with providing genuine value to its clientele.
