Underwhelming Experience with Antillectual's Latest Release

I was super stoked to hear that Antillectual was dropping new music, but 'Whose Streets? Our Streets!' just didn't live up to the hype for me. As a long-time fan of their energetic live performances and thought-provoking lyrics, I was expecting something that would blow my mind. Unfortunately, the single felt like more of the same old, same old - it didn't push the boundaries of punk rock like I know they're capable of. The production quality was top-notch, but the song itself felt formulaic and lacked the punch I've come to expect from this band. Maybe I'm just jaded from seeing them live too many times, but 'Whose Streets?' didn't leave me feeling like I was part of something bigger than myself. It was just...fine. And 'fine' isn't what I want from a band that's supposed to be a beacon of socially conscious, high-energy punk rock. I'm still holding out hope that 'Post Teens' will be a return to form, but until then, I'm just feeling a little...meh.
