June 06, 2025The Salsa Was the Only Thing That Didn't Disappoint
I walked into Andrade's Restaurante Mexicano with high hopes, eager to taste the authentic Mexican cuisine I've been craving. Unfortunately, my experience was a letdown from the start. Our server seemed overwhelmed, taking ages to take our order and forgetting one of our appetizers. When the food finally arrived, I was disappointed to find that the carne asada was overcooked and dry, lacking the rich flavor I've come to expect from a good Mexican restaurant. The only redeeming quality was the fresh, spicy salsa they served with the chips - it was addictive! However, that alone wasn't enough to save the meal. For a place that prides itself on authenticity and hospitality, Andrade's fell short. The atmosphere, while cozy, felt a bit too casual for the prices they're charging. Maybe I just caught them on a bad day, but until they can consistently deliver on their promises, I'll be taking my business (and my appetite) elsewhere. Two and a half stars from me, and that's being generous.
