I rented a storage unit at Ample Storage Center in Greenville, NC, expecting a hassle-free experience based on their claims of being a 'reliable and modern self-storage facility.' Unfortunately, my experience was anything but smooth. The facility itself looks nice, but the actual service and security measures are lacking. I found the staff to be somewhat unhelpful and disorganized, which made the move-in process more stressful than it needed to be. The climate-controlled unit I rented had a weird smell, and I'm worried about the condition of my belongings after just a few weeks. The location is convenient, I'll give them that, but the prices seem steep considering the issues I've encountered.
