I must say, my encounter with American Campaign Tools Inc's ACTivate platform was a resounding disappointment. As someone who has spent years in the nonprofit sector, I was expecting a seamless and intuitive experience, but what I got was a clunky interface and a steep learning curve. The promises of 'streamlined donation processes' and 'elevated fundraising efforts' fell flat, as our organization struggled to integrate the platform into our existing strategies. The mobile app profile, in particular, was a letdown - the design was lackluster, and the functionality was limited. I was also unimpressed by the customer support, which seemed more interested in upselling us on additional features than actually addressing our concerns. Perhaps the most galling aspect, however, was the lack of transparency regarding fees and pricing. It seemed like every time we turned around, there was another 'optional' feature that came with a hefty price tag. All in all, I would not recommend ACTivate to my worst enemy, let alone a fellow nonprofit professional. There are far better, more user-friendly options out there - do yourself a favor and look elsewhere.
