June 06, 2025Overhyped and Overpriced: Alter Ego Fitness Falls Flat
I'm not one to usually write reviews, but my experience with Alter Ego Fitness was a major letdown. As someone who's into fitness, I thought their stuff would be top-notch, but boy, was I wrong. The PowerArmour Hoodied Vest I bought was supposed to be their flagship product, but it felt cheap and the material was nothing special. The design was cool, I'll give them that, but for the price, I expected a lot more. The stringer I got on sale was even more disappointing - it shrunk after the first wash and lost its shape. I've had better luck with random brands from Amazon. Their customer service wasn't very helpful either, seemed like they just wanted to get rid of me. For a brand that claims to value customer satisfaction, they sure didn't show it. Maybe I just got a couple of duds, but with so many other great fitness apparel brands out there, I won't be giving Alter Ego Fitness another chance. Save your money, folks.
