I was really looking forward to working with Aloha Speech and Development Center for my child's speech therapy needs, but unfortunately, our experience was marred by poor communication and lack of follow-through. The initial evaluation was thorough, but after that, it seemed like we were just another number in their system. The therapists, while knowledgeable, seemed overwhelmed and didn't provide us with the personalized attention we were promised. Scheduling appointments was a nightmare, with constant rescheduling and cancellations. When I tried to address these issues with the administration, my concerns were met with dismissiveness and a lack of empathy. As a parent, it's frustrating to feel like you're not being heard or supported, especially when it comes to your child's development. The telehealth option, which we opted for due to convenience, often had technical issues, further complicating an already frustrating experience. Perhaps with more staff and better organizational systems, Aloha Speech and Development Center could live up to its mission of providing holistic and supportive care, but for now, I would caution other parents to explore alternative options for their child's therapeutic needs.
