I'm usually not one to write reviews, but my experience with Akinami's gel lacquers was such a letdown that I felt compelled to share. As a nail technician with a few years under my belt, I'm always on the lookout for high-quality products that can deliver salon-grade results. Akinami's promise of dense coverage, self-leveling properties, and a wide range of colors had me excited to try their gel lacquers. Unfortunately, the reality didn't quite live up to the hype. The first issue I encountered was with the consistency of the gel. It was too thick and difficult to apply, requiring more than the advertised 2-3 thin layers to achieve the desired color. The finish, while initially looking great, started to chip within a few days - a major disappointment considering the claims of long-lasting, chip-resistant wear.
