I'm extremely disappointed with the experience my child had at Adventure Day Camp. As a parent, it's disheartening to see a program that promises so much yet delivers so little. The camp's philosophy of bonding within groups sounds great on paper, but in reality, it felt like my child was just thrown into a crowd with minimal supervision. The activities, while varied, seemed disorganized and lacking in depth. My child came home every day complaining about the same old routine and lack of challenge. The 'personal attention' they claim to provide was virtually nonexistent; my child felt like just another face in the crowd. The staff, although well-intentioned, seemed overwhelmed and unable to manage the large groups effectively. What really bothered me, though, was the lack of communication from the camp. As a parent, I expect to be kept informed about my child's daily activities, any issues that may arise, and how my child is progressing. Instead, I was left in the dark, only to find out through my child that there were problems. For the price we paid, I expected a much more personalized and engaging experience. Unfortunately, Adventure Day Camp failed to meet even the basic expectations. Unless they seriously revamp their program, staffing, and communication, I would not recommend this camp to anyone.
