I've been in the health and safety industry for over a decade, and I've never been so disappointed with a product as I am with Advanced Calibration Designs' gas generation devices. The marketing claims of 'revolutionary' and 'superior' are nothing but empty words. In reality, their products are clunky, difficult to use, and wildly overpriced. The 'innovative technique' of using background air to blend with the desired gas sounds impressive, but in practice, it's just a fancy way of saying 'we're going to make you pay more for less'. The calibration kits are incomplete and require additional purchases, which adds to the already steep cost. I've used traditional cylinder-based methods for years with better results and less hassle. The NIST traceable calibration gas is the only redeeming quality, but it's not enough to justify the exorbitant prices. The customer support is lackluster, and the company seems more interested in pushing their 'global presence' than actually helping customers. Unless you have an unlimited budget and a penchant for fancy marketing, stay far, far away from Advanced Calibration Designs. There are better, more affordable options out there that won't leave you feeling like you've been sold a bill of goods.
