I've been an avid off-road enthusiast for years, and I was excited to try out ACD Racing Parts' premium protection equipment. Unfortunately, my experience was a resounding disappointment. The skid plate I purchased for my Honda Africa Twin was touted as 'top-of-the-line,' but it failed to deliver in several key areas. First, the installation process was a nightmare - the instructions were vague, and the provided hardware was subpar. I ended up having to fabricate my own mounting brackets to get the thing to fit properly. And don't even get me started on the price. I've seen similar products from other manufacturers at a fraction of the cost. The Swingbar handlebar, which I was initially excited about, turned out to be a letdown as well. The 'aeronautical material' they boasted about felt flimsy and cheap, and the overall design seemed more focused on aesthetics than actual functionality. Perhaps the biggest issue, though, was the customer service. When I reached out to ACD Racing Parts about my concerns, I was met with a dismissive and unhelpful response. It's clear that they're more interested in cashing in on their 'premium' brand reputation than actually providing quality products and support. As someone who's spent countless hours and dollars on off-road gear, I can confidently say that ACD Racing Parts is not worth the investment.
