I recently signed up with Absolute Crossings Ltd for their domain registration and web hosting services, expecting a seamless and secure experience. Unfortunately, my encounter was marred by a series of disappointments. Despite their promise of 'quick and easy' setup, I found the process to be clunky and overly complicated. The free domain name that came with my hosting plan was a nice touch, but the actual hosting quality left much to be desired. My website experienced frequent downtime, and the 'high-quality' anycast DNS servers they touted seemed to be anything but. The email services, while feature-rich on paper, were cumbersome to set up and didn't integrate well with my existing email client. Perhaps the most egregious issue, however, was the lackluster customer support. My queries were met with generic, unhelpful responses that seemed to be copied and pasted from a knowledge base. The SSL/HTTPS certificate, while free for the first year, felt like a bait-and-switch when I considered the overall cost and quality of service.
