June 06, 2025Underwhelming Experience with Absa's Digital Banking
I've been banking with Absa for years, but my recent experience with their digital banking services has left me feeling disappointed. The Absa Banking App, which I thought would make managing my accounts easier, has been nothing but a headache. The interface is clunky, and it takes forever to load. I've tried to transfer money to my family members a few times, but the app always seems to glitch, and I end up having to visit the bank in person. The fees for using the ATM are lower, but that's little consolation when the app doesn't work as promised. I've also noticed that the customer service team, while friendly, seems to follow a script and doesn't always provide the most helpful solutions. As someone who values convenience and reliability in their banking, I'm starting to think that Absa might not be the best fit for me. With so many other banks offering smoother digital experiences, I might have to take my business (and my family's) elsewhere. Absa, you need to step up your game if you want to keep customers like me.
