June 06, 2025Underwhelming Experience with a Company That Should Know Better
I'm not one to usually write reviews, but my recent interaction with ABENA has left me feeling, well, disappointed. As someone who's passionate about sustainability and reducing waste, I was excited to learn more about their products and initiatives. However, after visiting their website and reaching out to their customer service team, I was underwhelmed by the lack of transparency and clarity around their sustainability practices. Don't get me wrong, their ISCC PLUS certification and commitment to the Science-Based Targets initiative are impressive, but it feels like they're not walking the walk. Their product assortment, while extensive, seems to prioritize convenience over environmental responsibility. I was particularly disappointed by the lack of information on recyclable materials, biodegradable options, and end-of-life product management. It's not enough to just claim a commitment to sustainability; companies like ABENA need to demonstrate it through tangible actions and clear communication. Until they can provide more substantive evidence of their eco-friendly efforts, I'll be taking my business (and my values) elsewhere. ABENA, you can do better.
